A panel presentation on teen dating violence, featuring researchers and advocates who understand and work with this pressing problem. Featured presenters include:
- Heidi Rueda, LMSW, Ph.D., Associate Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA)’s Department of Social Work, where her research specialties include teen dating violence among Hispanic youth;
- Patricia Castillo, LMSW, Executive Director of the P.E.A.C.E. Initiative, and longtime community advocate for prevention and education around domestic violence; and
- Kimberly Berry, teen educator and Mi Carrera coordinator at YWCA San Antonio.
Q&A will follow the presentations, and translation services (Spanish and ASL) are projected to be provided.
