Fresh Air Friday

Join the Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) and the City of San Antonio Office of Sustainability at the 10th annual Fresh Air Friday! The purpose of Fresh Air Friday is to commemorate the start of the ozone season by informing the public on air quality and sustainable transportation through a fun and entertaining event.
Meet dozens of exhibitors from area agencies, nonprofits and businesses to learn more about air quality and sustainable transportation in our community. Jam out to awesome music from live bands and munch on delicious food from food trucks available on site. AACOG AIR Executive Committee Chair and San Antonio Councilman Ron Nirenberg, along with Committee Vice-Chair, Mayor Chris Riley of Leon Valley, will be the featured speakers.
At Fresh Air Friday, there will be exhibits on the latest alternative commuting options, potential improvements to air quality, energy efficiency, sustainable living, and many other healthy, green topics. Brochures, pamphlets, free promotional items, and door prizes will be given out during the event. Fresh Air Friday exhibitors will include over 20 nonprofit organizations, green businesses, and government agencies. Groups such as the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, Commute Solutions, Corona Visions, San Antonio B-Cycle, and VIA will be attending. Enjoy a demonstration of the Main Plaza B-Cycle station or meet VIA’s mascot – Primo!
