“This event should last about a hour to an hour and a half. This is a vigil for those lost to Police brutality and a march to bring awareness to the issue. We do not only demand justice for Floyd but the locals who have suffered the same fate here locally. We are enforcing social distancing practices and masks will be worn to avoid possible spread of infections. Hand sanitizer will be provided but it is encouraged for those attending to bring your own as well. We also advise you to bring your own water. Everyone who attends the event is asked to abide by the city ordinances and to follow directions of those putting on the event. Anyone who doesn’t will be asked to leave as we are conducting a peaceful gathering. All attendants should be 18 years of age or older. Anyone under 18 must have parents or legal guardian present to attend. Those who are in the middle if court or legal issues are attending on their own risk just as everyone else. While we can provide security to those who attend we must remind each other that they are acting of their own free will and must be responsible for themselves as well since we expect a large outcome.
