Social Advocacy Potluck Shabbat Dinner @Temple Beth-El: Affordable Housing

The Social Action Committee (SAC) will host its annual Shabbat Advocacy Potluck Dinner in the Barshop Auditorium on Friday, October 26, at approximately 7:45 pm, immediately following Shabbat services. The theme of this year’s Advocacy Potluck Dinner is housing, specifically, the availability of affordable housing, and the related issues of homelessness and neighborhood gentrification. The SAC’s overall focus on human rights makes this evening an important and timely topic. Rabbi Samuel M. Stahl will introduce the topic and the speakers. We will hold a moderated panel with three speakers to address various aspects of this topic

- Bob Comeaux, Alta Vista Neighborhood Association, will speak
about Miguel’s House
A 30-minute Q & A will follow.
