Thin Places I Have Known: Spirituality & Healthcare Conference
March 13 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm$50
The ancient Celtic tradition speaks of “thin places,” where the separation between heaven and earth is so small, at least for a moment, one glimpses the mystery of the divine. This conference will explore the transformative dimensions of these experiences to advance the competency of transdisciplinary professionals by developing their ability to integrate a spiritual dimension into practice, thus improving their capacity to recognize and attend to the spiritual needs of their patients, clients, colleagues, and self. This conference is designed with local Allied Healthcare Professionals, Chaplains, Physicians, Healthcare Educators, Hospice Staff, Nurses, and Social Workers in mind.
