6th Annual Walk Against Genocide

FreeWe will commemorate the life of Elie Wiesel (1928-2016) Wiesel was an American Jewish writer, professor, political activist, Nobel Laureate and Holocaust survivor. He was the author of 57 books, including Night, a work based on his experiences as a prisoner in the Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps. We will also hear from Haroun Rashid about life as a Rohingya Muslim in Burma (Myanmar) and his experiences as a refugee in the US.
Come hear speakers, listen to music, participate in activities and walk in support of those suffering.

Music with Dana Clark & Center for Refugee Services students throughout the event
The Holocaust Museum will open at 11:00am. Please come early and tour the museum.
